I always wanted to be in the medical field, but it became stronger when I lost my two babies to SIDS. The experiences made me want to become a nurse, so I could increase awareness of SIDS. There is not a lot of information on SIDS, so I wanted to help educate people of this condition.

Since I did not graduate high school, I first got my GED in 2019. Once I finished my GED, I knew I could begin nursing school. That led me to Hondros. I chose Hondros College of Nursing because I had heard so many good stories about the college and the staff.

The advice I would give to someone thinking about nursing school, is to just do it. Choosing to do this will never be a mistake. As a stay-at-home mother, I have had to stay dedicated and motivated in order to succeed at nursing school
