RN to BSN Admissions Requirements

  • The RN-BSN completion program at Hondros College is open to students with a
    current RN license.
     
  • You must be a graduate of a state board of nursing approved Associate Degree or Diploma program.Official transcripts from previous college experience are required.
     
  • Students should have a GPA of 2.0 or greater in their previous college experience

FAQ's about Admission

  1. Do you accept transfer credits for the program?

    Transfer credits for general education courses are accepted as long as you have received a grade of C or better. There is no limit to the number of general education courses you can transfer in as well as no time limit for any of your courses.

    Your transcripts will be evaluated by the school providing you with an easy to understand breakdown of what it will take for you to graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing.

  2. Is Hondros College accredited?

    Hondros College is an accredited member of the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, and is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing and the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools. The RN-to-BSN program is approved by the Ohio Board of Regents.
     
  3. How long does it take to complete the program?

    Students have the opportunity to complete the program in as little as one year! Once we have received your transcripts we will be able to provide you with a pre-evaluation, letting you know exactly what it will take you to graduate.
     
  4. Can I attend part-time?

    Hondros College understands that the majority of our students will be working nurses.  If you are not able to attend on a full time basis we will work with you and develop a part time schedule that will allow you to work and complete your degree at the same time.
