Networking is one of the most effective ways to find a job, yet most people are uncomfortable with networking because they equate it with begging. In reality, when done correctly and well, networking is so effective that research indicates that 8 out of every 10 jobs is secured through this activity. If you received an 80% in your most difficult class, you would be thrilled, correct? You would probably repeat the activities that helped you get that 80% so you could have the same success again and again in your class. So if networking has this success rate, why wouldn’t you do it?
