Welcome to your Hondros College Career Services website. After extensive discussion with students, faculty and nursing recruiters, we have put together what we believe is a broad, yet comprehensive, selection of self-directed materials to help you prepare for your career.

It’s never too early to begin managing your career. As a matter of fact, starting with your first class, begin compiling what we like to call a brag file. Add faculty feedback, employment evaluations, letters and e-mails from clients, and anything else that will help you recall experiences and accomplishments.

Additionally, while the profession of nursing is a rewarding and challenging one, as well as one that is in demand, many employers are seeking students who have demonstrated an ability to do the job. This often comes through employment experience. Consider adding volunteer and part-time opportunities related to your profession now, at the beginning of your nursing curriculum, so you can accumulate professional experiences to help you grow and be more marketable. As little as 10 hours per week can make a big difference!
