Hondros Nursing Students

What does it mean to be a
Hondros Nurse?

What makes a Hondros Nurse stand out?

At Hondros College, School of Nursing, our focus is to prepare students for careers in nursing at whatever level they choose to practice.

Hondros Nurses are distinguished by their high professional standards in demeanor, personal presentation, clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and on-the-job skills.

It’s not easy to be a Hondros Nurse. It requires effort, consistency, perseverance and diligence in pursuing the tasks assigned to our students.

Hondros Nurses do not go unnoticed or unrecognized for their extraordinary efforts, whether on the floor in a professional environment, or in any situation where their assistance has helped to save a life.

We are proud of our students and graduates for their ability to think and act like nurses! Below are just a few examples of our students's accomplishments. We know many more stories are happening every day.

  • Rachel Smith, 2011 Florence Nightingale nominee
  • Lisa Whitaker, Fairborn graduate and participant on CBS's Undercover Boss
